About Signal & Journey

We help businesses understand what their customers are really experiencing.
At Signal & Journey, we believe every customer interaction tells a story. Some moments build trust. Some create confusion. Some quietly push customers away. Our work helps businesses notice the signals, understand the journey, and make smarter decisions that improve the customer experience.
Hi, we’re David and Tiffani, the husband-and-wife team behind Signal & Journey. We combine data, analytics, AI, and customer advocacy experience to help businesses listen better, understand their customers more clearly, and turn feedback into meaningful action.

Meet the Founders

Meet Tiffani

Tiffani brings a deeply human approach to customer experience, communication, and advocacy. Her background includes working with customers, supporting executive-level engagement, and helping organizations better understand the voice of the customer. She has a natural ability to notice how people feel during an experience and where businesses may be unintentionally creating friction.

Tiffani’s customer experience perspective is also shaped by cross-cultural research and observation across Asia and Europe. Through this work, she studied how culture, environment, communication styles, and social expectations influence the way people make decisions, engage with businesses, and define a positive experience. These insights help her look beyond surface-level feedback and better understand the human needs behind customer behavior.

Through Signal & Journey, Tiffani helps businesses strengthen relationships, improve communication, and create experiences that feel more thoughtful, consistent, and personal.

Meet David

David brings a strong background in data, analytics, AI, process improvement, and business systems. His strength is seeing patterns, connecting the dots, and turning scattered information into clear insight. Through Signal & Journey, David helps businesses move beyond assumptions and use customer signals, operational data, and experience patterns to make better decisions.

David’s perspective is also shaped by international research across Asia and Europe. He conducted ethnographic research focused on consumer behavior, cultural influences, and decision-making patterns across different markets. This work strengthened his ability to understand how people interact with businesses, how expectations shift across cultures, and how environmental and social factors influence quality of life, mobility, community engagement, and customer expectations.

He brings a thoughtful, strategic, and practical approach to every engagement, helping businesses understand what is happening, why it matters, and how to turn customer insight into measurable improvements across the organization.

Together

Together, we balance insight and empathy. Strategy and service. Data and real human experience.

Our cross-cultural research across Asia and Europe gave us a broader lens for understanding customer experience. We studied how consumer behavior, cultural expectations, environmental factors, and social dynamics influence the way people interact with businesses and make decisions. That perspective helps us approach customer experience with more depth, curiosity, and context.

That combination is what makes Signal & Journey different.

We do not believe customer experience should feel cold, complicated, or overly corporate. We believe it should be clear, useful, and connected to the real people a business serves every day. Our goal is to help organizations turn customer signals into stronger experiences, better decisions, and measurable ROI across enterprise stakeholders.

Our Story

Signal & Journey was created from a very real observation: many businesses are working hard, but they are missing the small signals customers are giving them every day.

A confusing website. A slow follow-up. A poor first impression. A frustrating service experience. A review that says more than it seems. A loyal customer who suddenly stops coming back.

These moments matter.

We started Signal & Journey to help businesses see what their customers are seeing, feel what their customers are feeling, and understand where the experience can be improved. Our goal is not to criticize businesses. Our goal is to help them grow, retain more customers, and create experiences people actually want to come back to.

As founders, we bring both professional experience and real-life perspective. We are customers, parents, problem-solvers, listeners, and builders. We notice the details. We care about how people are treated. And we believe businesses do not need to be perfect to be excellent. They just need to be willing to listen, learn, and improve.

Our Values & Beliefs

We believe customers are already telling you what they need.

The signals are there in reviews, conversations, complaints, questions, missed opportunities, and everyday interactions. We help businesses slow down enough to see the patterns.

We believe data should still feel human.

Numbers are helpful, but they do not tell the whole story by themselves. We combine analytics with empathy so businesses can understand both what is happening and how customers are experiencing it.

We believe small improvements can create big results.

Not every business needs a massive transformation. Sometimes better follow-up, clearer communication, cleaner processes, and stronger first impressions can make an immediate difference.

We believe listening is a business strategy.

Companies that listen well are better equipped to retain customers, improve service, build loyalty, and grow with intention.

We believe customer experience belongs to everyone.

Customer experience is not just a department. It shows up in marketing, sales, service, operations, onboarding, leadership, and every touchpoint in between.

Our Approach

We help businesses understand the full customer journey, from the first impression to the follow-up after the sale.

Our approach is simple, practical, and insight-driven. We look at what customers see, what they say, what they feel, and where the experience may be falling short. Then we turn those findings into clear recommendations the business can actually use.

We do not believe in overwhelming clients with complicated reports that sit untouched. We focus on clarity. We identify the most important issues, explain why they matter, and help prioritize what should happen next.

Our work may include customer experience audits, voice-of-customer analysis, customer journey reviews, reputation insights, digital storefront evaluations, advisory board support, executive briefing preparation, and practical service improvement strategies.

Whether we are helping a small business improve its first impression or helping a larger organization better understand customer feedback, our goal is the same: help businesses create experiences that feel intentional, trustworthy, and worth returning to.

What We Bring

Customer Experience Insight

We evaluate the real customer journey, not just what a business hopes the journey looks like. We look for gaps, friction, missed signals, and opportunities to improve.

Data, Analytics & AI

We use data and AI-supported analysis to identify themes, trends, and patterns in customer feedback, reviews, surveys, support conversations, and operational touchpoints.

Customer Advocacy Experience

We understand the importance of customer relationships, customer stories, advisory boards, executive engagement, and turning satisfied customers into advocates.

Practical Business Recommendations

We focus on improvements that are realistic, actionable, and connected to business outcomes like retention, loyalty, reputation, conversion, and customer trust.

Don’t Wait Until Customers Leave to Start Listening.

Your customers are already giving you signals. The question is whether those signals are being noticed, understood, and turned into action.

Let’s uncover what your customers are really experiencing and where your business can improve the journey.
